Rose Queen 2007

Kasai Rimmer has been chosen as this year's Rose Queen. Kasai is ten years old and is a resident of Burgamot Lane. She attends Comberbach Primary School where her favourite subjects are English, History, Art and P.E. Kasai first took part in the retinue as a Flower Girl on her fifth birthday. Since then she has spent the years moving from Flower Girl to Senior Attendant.

Currently, Kasai is a school house captain, librarian and Phys Kids leader. She is a member of the choir, gymnastics club and netball team. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, taking part in drama productions and playing her saxophone.

 

Retinue for 2007

Rose Proudfoot has been chosen to be the Rose Princess for 2007 and the charity nominated jointly by Kasai and Rose to receive the money raised from the annual charity walk/fun run is St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice.

The Senior Attendants will be Katie Walker and Victoria Malaspina.

Kasai will also be supported by her sister Niesha, Sarah Jayne McKeegan, Niamh Webber-Howard and Anna Cameron as Junior Attendants.

The Flower Girls are Beth Stephenson, Laura Rodgerson, Niamh Guile  and Aphra Proudfoot.

The Crown Bearer will be Charlie Dutton.

James Cameron and Rhys Worrall will be the Sword Bearers.
