Fun Run 2008

The 2008 event will be held on Sunday, 22 June at a new venue in Marbury Park.

The event will follow a 5k course around the Park.

As last year we are including a Charity Walk for those who wish to take it slowly.

We will be presenting the George Walker Shield to the individual (16+) raising the most sponsorship.

For the younger runners the Junior Fun Run will take place around a 2k course. The Marion Taylor Trophy will be awarded to the junior (under 16) raising the most sponsorship.

Light refreshments will be available.

Joggers and walkers wishing to participate can just turn up on the day. Contact Gillian Naylor  (891185) for more information.

 

Sponsorship

Each year since 1998 the Committee has organised a sponsored Family Fun Run prior to the Fete and the proceeds are donated to a charity nominated by the Rose Queen elect.
