The Sunday School Our children and young people meet in their age related groups, coming into the Service for the last 15 minutes. Often they share a song, sketch or prayer from their time in Sunday School.
We enjoy……… Our dedicated Sunday School teachers are trained, CRB checked, and have completed the Methodist Church Safeguarding Course. ˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜˜
Notices for Sunday 5th September 2010 A super, sunny time was had by all on the Trip to Llandudno last Tuesday. Sandcastles, donkey rides, crabs to catch, boats, Punch and Judy, picnics etc all contributed to a really good day! Family Film night on October 1st at 7pm in the Schoolroom. Sing along to the Abba songs. The Lite Bite will be starting soon (October 7th) All helpers please sign the rota. The Collections for Pakistan amounted to £268.43. Many thanks Last chance to give any items for Kenya-members from the Circuit are going next week. Why not browse through the Christian Books on sale in Barnton all next week. Can we help? (1)With the cafe at the Salvation Army in Northwich, or (2)with Christians against Poverty, helping people struggling with debt. Training will be given. Once again we will be ordering our 'Comberbach Methodist Church' Christmas Puddings, which help raise money for the Maintenance Fund. We have been asked to make up teams for the Action for Children Quiz night on Friday, 24th Sept at Barnton Methodist Church. The evening includes a "Spuds and puds" supper. Our Harvest Festival, on 26th Sept, will be followed by a Harvest Supper. Tickets available soon.
