Councillor Ian Barron
At the December meeting of the Parish Councillor Ian Barroo tendered his resignation. The council is losing a valued member who has served as a coundlor since the last elections but had previously seen service as Parish Council Clerk for many years. The councillors were unanimous in expressing their thanks for all the work that had been done by lan.
If you wish to be considered for service on the Parish Council, the details will be posted on the required notice on the notice boards.
Notice Boards
An order has been placed to repair the notice board at the Post Office. This work will be done shortly.
Judicial Review
In November, the Parish Council received notice that in the matter of an application for Judicial Review against the Parish Council, the decision of the Judge was to refuse the application.
Planning Applications
The application for change of use at Ivy Lodge farm has been withdrawn by the applicant.
Highway Faults
As a result of the recent bad weather the condition of many of the roads in the area has deteriorated rapidly. The councillors will react to any reports they receive but if you have an internet connection the fault can be registered directly with the council. In Cheshire West and Chester area recorded faults are checked and actions determined on a daily basis. If you want to report faults yourselves, there are 3 routes available.
