Just to make everyone aware that 4 men attempted to break into seven houses in the village during the early hours of 23 jan 10 at around 04:30. A person has reported that they walked off up Senna Lane. The police have reported that it seems they were intent on stealing a car/cars and successfully stole one vehicle from the village. Residents of Comberbach may be pleasd to hear that the police have in fact taken two youths (17 and 19) into custody and subsequently the offenders have been placed in prison. They were involved in other crimes for which they apparently used stolen cars and had come from the Ellesmere Port / Liverpool area to steal cars on that evening. Well done to the police on this occasion.
