I was just about to post the same. I received this message too. Hi Liz, Thank you for your email. Usually, we would utilise the Openreach underground infrastructure but in this case, it Is not possible. The Openreach underground network is directly buried in the ground meaning, the cables are not encased in ducting. We have an agreement with Openreach meaning we can share their network where possible. To build an entire underground network we would need to dig up the entire estate and driveways causing enormous amount of disruption for resident hence our decision to erect new telegraph poles. We are liaising with your local council and all necessary paperwork will be submitted to them. We held a meeting with Parish Councillors back in May this year where we detailed our plans to them. The network will bring full fibre broadband to the area with speeds of up to 500mbps of data straight to your premises. If you would like to register your interest, please visit www.freedomfibre.com/register and we will keep you informed of when the network will be available in your area and invite you to sign up. You can also find more information on our website regarding our network. I have included a picture below of the proposed poles for your area. The proposed poles are highlighted in Pink

Thank you for that, very helpful

Hi there, The Parish council, a few local residents, local council IT representatives and Freedom Fibre have held a few meetings very recently. Whilst this Freedom Fibre statement has some correct points, it also has many incorrect points...and reads as scare mongery. At this point, I believe that all work has stopped with Freedom Fibre until they do a further investigation of available ducts around Comberbach. As I understand it, there are available ducts in some areas, some areas have empty ducts, some have broken and some have none. The Council IT rep stated that moles can be used to track the cables quite easily underground in our area...and this is what is being looked into. These moles will give very little disruption and then each individual household can decide whether they want these feeds brought directly to their homes or not I am sure that the Parish Councillors who where present at the latest sets of meetings are about to post some up to date information on here, keeping us all informed of what's currently happening.

Are the red circles existing? My parents live on The Moss so wondering how this might affect them and their neighbours 🙈

Hi Sarah Wilks , You are very lucky that they sent you the bigger plan. Have they included the explanation of the colours and symbols on the map? Thank you.

The purple circles are where the proposed pole are going to be put up.

That's a LOT of new poles 😮

Can’t tell you how excited I am to see this in the village! (Laura and I are not related but do have some shared Tumble Tots history. The memorial hall will be a great space for all the kit Tumble Tots have)

Yea we loved tumble tots. The best pre-school class we did. For the whole of his first year at school my son would say every Monday- I don’t think I’ll go to school today, I’m going to tumble tots instead Good luck Laura .

Good luck 👍 We are so excited to have you at the hall! 🥰

All of the very best of luck. Ours loved Tumble tots and it is brilliant to see it coming to comberbach again.

What a wonderful addition to the village. We loved Tumble Tots with my eldest. Gutted I work a Thursday. Would love to see classes on a Monday or Friday if all goes well for you 🙂

Please share as far and wide as possible. Russell is still missing. Check dash and and doorbell footage please. Any information should be reported to police on 101 thank you 🙏MISSING MAN - Last seen in Northwich

Police searching for missing man Russell Tomlinson are continuing to appeal for information.

The 42-year-old was last seen at around 8.30pm on Friday 18th November in Waitrose on London Road, Northwich.

Following further enquiries, officers now know that Russell then made his way back to his home address in the Chapel Court area.

Russell is described as white, 6’3” tall, of a medium build with short dark hair which is receding at the front.

When he was last seen he was wearing a black coat, black beanie hat and a rucksack.

Russell is believed to have links to the Knutsford and Alsager areas.

Detective Sergeant James Elliott said: “We have had several officers out and about searching for Russell but this has so far come to no avail.

"Now nearly a week has passed since Russell was last seen and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"We have been following several enquiries which shows him walking back home, near to Turners Sandwich Bar, on London Road towards the direction of the railway arches at around 8.30pm on 18 November.”

“We know that he has then left his coat, that he is seen wearing in the CCTV image, at home before leaving his address again.

"We are asking anyone who may have CCTV in and around the London Road area or even dashcam and smart doorbell footage, to review their footage from 8.30pm as we believe this could assist us in our search for Russell.”

“I would urge anyone who believes that they may have seen Russell or may have any information, no matter how small, to please contact us.”

“I also want to appeal directly to Russell. If you see this, please contact us to let us know that you are safe and well.”

Anyone within any information in relation to the whereabouts of Russell asked to contact Cheshire Police at www.cheshire.police.uk/police-forces/cheshire-constabulary/areas/cheshire/about-us/about-us/provi... or call 101, quoting IML 1416611.

Alternatively information can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers online via crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously on 0800 555 111.
